Flowers Blooming in the Night
 
Artist Notes:
In this series, I painted with opaque watercolor called ‘gouache’ to depict the reflected light on the white petals. This embraces the translucent nature of this painting medium, gouache. Negative spaces are composed to catch the fragrance that flowers silently release. Flowers sculpt spaces through their movement, fragrance, and textures. Their silent poetry whispers that beauty can arise from the ashes, and hope blooms.
 
This beautiful 5x7-inch giclee is printed on fine art watercolor paper with a euro flap envelope.
